Meet the Therapist/Supervisor

Jaclyn "Jac" Conte, LMFT-S
Hello! I'm a straight-friendly therapist with a queer outlook on life. I created Queer Thriving because I saw a need for therapy that was better suited for the LGBTQiA+ community. When I was in grad school, I experienced discrimination as a queer client in my own personal therapy. It made me question my own identity and sent me down an unnecessary shame spiral. When I found the right therapist for me, one who validated my identity, I began to thrive. After that experience, I decided that I would dedicate my life to bringing high-quality, accessible therapy to people like me.
Now, as a licensed therapist and supervisor, I use research-based therapy methods to help my gay, bisexual, trans, asexual, and queer clients thrive. I help my clients with their relationships, careers, and personal lives. I have extensive trainings in transitioning, alternative relationships, mood disorders, neurodivergence, and couples therapy. I do my best to stay up-to-date in the latest, most effective therapeutic tools. I can't wait to share these with you.
Please don't hesitate to reach-out to me with any questions, I'd love to hear from you! To learn more about supervision with me go here.

While looking to the past is important, my desire is to give you tools to feel better as soon as possible.
